Welcome to the Green Travel Carnival.

Welcome to the first ever Green Travel Carnival. It’s great to see you here.

Shane Sakata suggests that when you travel to Asia that you should Bring your Own Chopsticks & Save the Planet posted at The Tokyo Traveler. It’s simple things like this that will help to save the forests in China.

Janelle Nanos writes about the Cabo: Sea Turtles in Danger posted at Intelligent Travel. The San Cristobal Nature Preserve is the last remaining turtle nesting site in Cabo San Lucas on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula, and it’s in danger of being bulldozed by illegal developers.

Shannon Hurst Lane provides us with an alternative form of transport with Mama on the Move: Segway of Hawaii posted at Traveling Mamas. They may look a little funny and seem a little scary but once your on them and moving, it brings the child in you out to play.

    Thanks for compiling such a great list of sites. I am really getting into traveling green and especially on a budget so these websites will help in that effort.
