UK’s ‘Hex in the Harvest’ Maze Opening Soon.
So what could be greener than wandering around a maze in the moonlight ?
The UK’s first outdoor summer scare attraction, Hex in the Harvest, is due to open later this month. Located at the Hawkshaw Farm Park in Lancashire in the north of England, Hex in the Harvest is a live nighttime interactive experience inside 2.4 hectares (6 acres) of maize cornfields.
Hawkshaw Farm, near Pendle Hill, was picked as the location for this attraction because of it’s history. Local folk law has it that back in the 17th century, this area was the hunting ground of ‘Pendle Witches’ who were responsible for the murder by witchcraft of 17 people in and around the Forest of Pendle. The ‘witches’ - ten in all - were caught and hung at the nearby Lancaster gaol in 1612.
Now their story is the central theme of the new Hex in the Harvest attraction. Visitors navigating the dark pathways of the maze will encounter the ‘witches’ and other scary characters along the way. Guaranteed to have you shaking in your boots, this attraction is not recommended for pregnant women or anyone with a heart problem.
Sounds like a real scream…
Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights between July 24th and September 13th inclusive. Click here for times. Tickets can be purchased online.

Me too.
Sounds like the perfect place for a Halloween Party although it will be long closed by then. Hopefully this will be open every summer…
