Traveling the Green Way Hosts ‘Carnival of Cities’.

The Carnival of Cities has arrived at Traveling the Green Way. And while it’s not green, it sure is interesting.  So grab a coffee and wander the world with us…

Erica Douglas from LittleMummy.Com tips us off to the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. And once you’ve finished wandering through the museum, Erica suggests that you cross the road and check out Vittoria’s, a child friendly Italian restaurant.

Wendy from Escape From New York introduces us to Catedral de Santiago Antigua Guatemala, saying, “Like many of Antigua, Guatemala’s landmark buildings the Catedral de Santiago has undergone numerous unplanned makeovers.”

WanderMom writes about how to have special times in seattle by heading for the great outdoors and hiking Mount Si on a sunny October day.

On the other hand, there’s something to be said about staying inside, as minnemom from Uptake Attractions Blog points out in her Top 10 Tips for Mall of America with Kids. Located in Minniapolis, Mall of America is place that offers something for every age group.

Across the ditch in England, Tamara from Smith Travel Blog reviews Hawksmoor in her search for the Best steak in London.

Heather on her travels writes about A river trip to Greenwich - in London, pointing out that it’s a great way to get a different perspective of London.

Back in California, Nancy Brown from What a Trip provides information on the Best Places to Visit, Dine, Stay in Mendocino, handy information for anyone planning a trip to California’s north coast.”

Meanwhile, Matthew Paulson from The Travel Advocate has an overview of great spots for autumn leaf gazing for Travelers Seeking Colorful Getaways.

Take another quick trip over the ditch, this time to France with Shannon Hurst Lane from Traveling Mamas who was lucky enough to experience some Luxury Travel in Saint Tropez.

Then head for South America with Farsighted Fly Girl who looks at the Top Five Things To Do In Salvador, Bahia.

And just to add a touch of reality, Silicon Valley Blogger from The Digerati Life presents Foreclosure Alley’s Personal Stories of Financial Loss: The Aftermath of Foreclosure, saying, “This is about a suburb in Southern California dubbed as “Foreclosure Alley”. It is a hub for foreclosures and bank-owned properties. This gives us a look at what’s happening in some parts of the country today, in the midst of the mortgage crisis and real estate bust.”
