On the Road: Finding Eco-Friendly Restaurants.

If you’re on the road and looking for an eco-friendly restaurant, then the best place to start looking would be the Sustainable Table’s Eat Well Guide. This online eco-restaurant finder offers up  locations, restaurants types, products, and production method.

You simple type in your zip code or city (advanced search) and the Eat Well Guide does the rest. Within seconds, you’ll have all the information you want at your fingertips.

But it’s not just restaurants listed here. You can also find out about farmer’s markets, butchers, bakers, stores, farmers, B&B’s and more.

The only catch is that this guide only covers the United States and Canada at present.

What a great resource, I wish I had had it a few years back when I was traveling across the USA a lot. It was a real challenge trying to eat healthy on the road and fast food often became the only option.
    Thanks for info!

Hi Healthy Reviewer, thanks for stopping by. The Eat Well Guide is brilliant and you wish I had know about the last couple of road trips I did around the States. Least we know where it is for next time.
