Green holiday lights festival at Springs Preserve, Las Vegas
How about a green holiday lights festival? The Springs Preserve in Las Vegas is celebrating the holiday season with its Winter Lights Festival until December 30/08. Some half-million LED holiday lights are setting aglow the Preserve, a showcase of indoor and outdoor green desert living.
Springs Preserve’s festive display consists of all LED lights which conserve over 90 percent of the energy that would be consumed by conventional holiday bulbs. The festival also features live entertainment, horse drawn carriage rides, specialty seasonal food and spirits, green gift options and more.
“Springs Preserve always strives to infuse the Las Vegas community with a sense of family, fun and cheer,” says Jay Nichols, director of the Springs Preserve.
