What’s Green…at the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St Paul, Minnesota.

The Republican National Convention was originally sidelined by Hurricane Gustav. But now that  it’s up and running, it’s time to have a look at what’s green at the RNC….

I didn’t have to go far to find out. The RNC’s ‘green fact sheet’ has it all spelt out for us. Theres….

  • fuel flexible and hybrid vehicles
  • a paperless system for recruiting and registering volunteers
  • the convention offices are furnished with recycled furnishings
  • the offices temperature is climate controlled, with automatic switch off at 5pm
  • free bikes are available to convention attendees
  • all paper, bottle, and cans are recycled.
