New York City Car Free? Only on ‘Summer Streets’.

It’s hard to imagine the roads of New York City devoid of cars.

But for three days this August, that’s just what’s happening for a small section of the city.

On August 9th, 16th, and 23rd from 7am – 1pm

You can…

Play! Run! Walk! Bike! Breathe!…at SUMMER STREETS!!

Along nearly 7 miles of car-free streets.

Park Avenue and connecting streets from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park will be temporarily closed.

A NYC Green Initiative, the Summer Streets project aims at encouraging New Yorkers to get active and use more eco friendly forms of transport.
