Chicago is ‘Green with Desire’.
If you’re in Chicago this summer, make an effort to visit the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s (CAF) new exhibition called Green with Desire which asked the question ‘Can We Live Sustainably in Our Homes?’.
The Green with Desire exhibition is all about challenging the myths about sustainable living. As Gregory Dreicer, Vice President of Exhibitions and Programs, says “…[this exhibit offers]…a unique experience that encourages people to think about how we might live “green” in homes not designed for sustainable living—which is what we inhabit.”
Featuring case studies of typical northern Illinois housing (bungalows, suburban ranch houses, luxury high rises, and public housing), the exhibit focuses on the big questions about how we live, while at the same time providing information about strategies for conserving energy.
Green with Desire is a free exhibit that will be running from June 24 through September 5 at 224 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

Its a great concept and much needed in recent times very few Indians are trying to use eco friendly materials and look at ways of conserving energy ..i hope the trend catches on soon
